New Darwin Centre To Open Sept. 15th
From next month visitors to the Natural History Museum in South Kensington, London, will be able to visit the Museum’s £78m Darwin Centre, home to 17 million insect and three million plant specimens.
Described by Museum bosses as “the most significant development at the Museum since it was built in 1881?, the Darwin Centre will allow up to 2,500 visitors a day to see some of the Museum’s scientists at work.

Randal Keynes Sets Sail
2009 also marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of both the Galapagos National Park and the Charles Darwin Foundation. On Saturday the 24th of October 2009, the MV Eclipse will set sail on the official CDF and GCT Anniversary Fundraising cruise, offering a number of remarkable, tailor-made features and insights, not available on any standard departure.
